Has anyone seen this problem: Repetier Host works fine in manual mode (all command are sent with no problems-extruder movement, heating, etc.), but if I import any STL file and slice it (using slic3r or cura), it seems to immediately loose communications with the printer; the slicing works fine, but after sending the first command (or maybe a few), it just sits there forever waiting for the.
Hi,
Windows 10 Iso
i got my printer a couple weeks ago and everything is fine and working, now I wanted to use Repetier-Host to connect to the printer directly, I plug in the printer via USB to my notebook and get the typical Windows 10 'DUUP-DUUP'. Checking in the device Manager I saw the printer first as unknown device, so I downloaded the drivers (got corrupted files on the microSD) and selected the 'ftdibus.inf' file and in the next window, it wants me to select a Model, but I have no clue what to select there. It lists
- FT4222 Interface (A - D)
- FT4222 Mode 3 Device
- FT4222H Interface (A - D)
- FT4222H Mode 3 Device
- UMFT4222PROG
- UMFTPD3A Programming Board
- USB Serial Converter
- USB Serial Converter (A - G)

If someone could point me in the right direction here, that would be pretty nice. I already tried the 'USB Serial Converter' with no success. Trying to connect using Repetier-Host always says that access is denied to 'COM3'. There are no other USB devices attached to the notebook at the moment, so it's likely that 'COM3' is correct as it's the only thing I can select.
